Access During Off-Hours
This section provides information regarding the
requirements for proper identification while on the property of Brighton
Marine Health Center
1. BM Security Department monitors and can control access to buildings
and grounds during off-hours.
2. Common areas, vacant space and grounds are under direct control of
BM. Access to these areas
during off-hours is prohibited unless otherwise authorized by Building
Management.
3. Persons entering any building during off-hours must report to the
R.E. Hawes Building (Main Building) first unless otherwise noted below.
The Main Building may only be accessed through the main lobby
doors (Warren Street entrance) or the back door (Annex Road) entrances.
Security will allow those in who can provide proper
identification (BM ID or Tenant issued ID).
Building 2, East Hall off-hours
access:
Access may be granted to Building 2 East Hall by reporting to the
front door of Building 2 and phoning Security on the remote door lock.
The Security Department will verify person by name and
closed-circuit television surveillance.
Patients may not access the building until the Tenant arrives.
Tenants must notify Security when exiting the building for the
day.
4. No guests/visitors are allowed to enter the building unless
authorized by the Security Department during off-hours.
Any person requesting access to the building who is not a patient
or without proper identification must report to the Security Desk.
Tenants bringing guests/visitors to the building must verify with
Security first and are responsible for the actions of their
guests/visitors at all times.
5. Any
tenant who wishes to place restrictions on building access in their
rented space must notify the Operations Manager in writing.
The restrictions will be reviewed between the Operations Manager
and VP-Admin & Finance before granting approval.
6. Doors
should never be left propped open or unlocked during off-hours or normal
business hours. Any Tenant
needing access to a locked area without key should notify Security for
authorization and access.
All doors accessed should be locked when exiting.
7. Tenants will not be allowed entry to any office for which they have
not been authorized to access as listed on the authorization form.
