Access During Off-Hours

This section provides information regarding the requirements for proper identification while on the property of Brighton Marine Health Center

1.  BM Security Department monitors and can control access to buildings and grounds during off-hours.

 2.   Common areas, vacant space and grounds are under direct control of BM.  Access to these areas during off-hours is prohibited unless otherwise authorized by Building Management.

 3.  Persons entering any building during off-hours must report to the R.E. Hawes Building (Main Building) first unless otherwise noted below.  The Main Building may only be accessed through the main lobby doors (Warren Street entrance) or the back door (Annex Road) entrances.  Security will allow those in who can provide proper identification (BM ID or Tenant issued ID).

Building 2, East Hall off-hours access:
Access may be granted to Building 2 East Hall by reporting to the front door of Building 2 and phoning Security on the remote door lock.  The Security Department will verify person by name and closed-circuit television surveillance.  Patients may not access the building until the Tenant arrives.  Tenants must notify Security when exiting the building for the day.

 4.  No guests/visitors are allowed to enter the building unless authorized by the Security Department during off-hours.  Any person requesting access to the building who is not a patient or without proper identification must report to the Security Desk.  Tenants bringing guests/visitors to the building must verify with Security first and are responsible for the actions of their guests/visitors at all times.

 5.  Any tenant who wishes to place restrictions on building access in their rented space must notify the Operations Manager in writing.  The restrictions will be reviewed between the Operations Manager and VP-Admin & Finance before granting approval.

6.  Doors should never be left propped open or unlocked during off-hours or normal business hours.  Any Tenant needing access to a locked area without key should notify Security for authorization and access.  All doors accessed should be locked when exiting.

 7.  Tenants will not be allowed entry to any office for which they have not been authorized to access as listed on the authorization form.
